According to the American “Forbes” magazine, the Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo earned a billion dollars in his professional career, to become the third athlete to reach this amount, after Tiger Woods, the golf legend, and boxer Floyd Mayweather.
It added that Ronaldo received 650 million dollars in salaries from the clubs he has professionalized in the past 17 years and is expected to take 765 million dollars as a result of the contract signed with the management of the Italian club Juventus, which ends in 2022.
It explained that Ronaldo was able to obtain more money, thanks to the commercial contracts that he signed with international companies, in addition to the brands registered in his name of clothes and perfumes, and many hotels bearing his name in a number of countries in the world.

And It added that his empire extends to the world of social media, where he is the first soccer player to reach more than 222 million followers, and he has received more than 47 million dollars, as a result of the money received by the companies sponsoring social media.
It concluded that Ronaldo’s net profits in 2020 amounted to $ 60 million as a result of his salary from Juventus, and some money from the sponsoring companies, but he was affected by the reduction in his wages, which reached 30 percent, due to the outbreak of the new Coronavirus.
